CAD-HR works in partnership with community organisations, public institutions, local authorities, and strategic collaborators to advance human rights, strengthen community infrastructure, and support long-term development.

These partnerships reflect CAD-HR's wider role as an organisation that not only delivers work directly, but also helps shape systems, convene stakeholders, and contribute to long-term models of community-centred change.

Flagship Strategic Collaboration

C-BACE: SUBNet, CAD-HR and The Ubele Initiative

CAD-HR is part of the Southwark Unified Black Network (SUBNet) partnership formed in response to Southwark Council's opportunity to appoint an operator for the proposed Centre for Black African and Caribbean Elders (C-BACE) in Peckham. The initiative is designed as a dedicated, culturally rooted centre for Black African and Caribbean elders, with a focus on dignity, wellbeing, community connection, and long-term inclusion.

Working alongside Black-led community partners and The Ubele Initiative, the partnership developed a proposal for a community-led, financially sustainable hub that would bring together health and wellbeing support, cultural activity, social inclusion, food and nutrition, advocacy, intergenerational programming, and community participation under one model.

Within this collaboration, CAD-HR contributes advocacy, rights-based support, community law pathways, and stakeholder convening capacity. The partnership documents identify CAD-HR as an anchor organisation with experience in bringing together networks and institutions to support community resilience, strengthen access to support, and contribute to wider systems change.

Consortium and Institutional Partnerships

CAD-HR participates in consortium and institutional partnerships where collective leadership, shared infrastructure, and multi-agency working are needed to address complex community challenges. These collaborations are especially important where sustainable community spaces, coordinated support systems, and culturally competent service models require more than one organisation acting alone.

Programme and Community Collaborations

Alongside larger institutional partnerships, CAD-HR also works with community groups, networks, frontline organisations, and specialist collaborators on practical initiatives that support rights, wellbeing, development, and community advancement. These collaborations may involve advocacy support, early intervention, community legal pathways, development work, research-related activity, or shared delivery linked to local priorities.
