We advance human rights by providing free legal and employability support to migrant communities mainly from non-English-speaking countries living in the UK.
Our legal services cover a wide range of issues including challenging local authority decisions, housing, education, employment, immigration, and social security.
We established MRU Social and Economic Community (MRU Community) as a support structure for the migrant communities we serve in the UK and our approach to achieving our development advancement objective.
We are a community of qualified and experienced legal and international development practitioners passionate, dedicated and committed to using our time and skills to provide free legal services and community development support to migrant communities across the UK. We combine human rights and community development because we believe they are inseparable. We envisage a world in which everyone should have access to equal opportunities and are equipped with the right tools to succeed. Our empowering and enabling approach ensure that all barriers preventing migrant communities from realising their dreams are removed so that it becomes easier for them to succeed in whatever goal they set for themselves.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
